PROPHET, Shirley Evelyn Prophet (nee Patrick) - Born in Smiths Falls, Ontario on October 21, 1935 to parents Evelyn and Vince Patrick.
Shirley passed away peacefully in Lakeridge Health-Oshawa on November 5, 2019 after a short stay.
She is the second of 5 siblings.
Bernola (deceased), Robert (deceased), Beverley (deceased), and Yvonne.
Shirley married and divorced Bruce Brandon Prophet and they have 4 children; Paul (Leigh), Randy (Karen), Lori, and Tracy. Her grandchildren are; Vicky (Donald-deceased), Holly, John; Scott, Cory, Brock; Emily (Brandon), John. Her great-grandchildren are Sherry-Lynn, Donald (DJ); Kara, Kristina.
Shirley loved to knit and crochet scarves, knitted dolls and blankets for family and friends and also for the Shoe Box Program.
She loved music and could always be seen moving and dancing to whatever she was listening to.
She loved Neil Diamond and Tracy played this for her at the end in the hospital.
She leaves behind a sister, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She will be missed. Cremation, with burial at Kemptville Public Cemetery in the spring of 2020.
