MONTEITH, David K. Monteith - David was granted his angel wings on November 9th, 2019.
His last days were spent in comfort surrounded by family.
Dave’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of life far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
His smile, and sense of humor brought so much joy to both family and friends.
He gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life.
He loved to travel, play golf though not well. Dave’s family met the world to him, as he to them. One of Dave’s most memorable place that meant the world to him (his last vacation), was to his cousin, Bud’s, trailer in Wyres Brook, NB.
Dave worked many years for Modelez (Cadbury) in Building Maintenance where he met many of his friends including his wife Lise.
Dave is survived by his loving wife Lise Monteith (Parry), his sisters Valerie Monteith, Jocelyn Aubertin (partner Ted), Nancy J. Nagy, Catherine Thomas, Elaine Butler and brothers Ron Monteith, (wife Heather), Rick Monteith (partner Candy), and Frank P. Nagy (wife Camille), Mother in- law Denise Parry and brother in-law Kevin parry(wife Olivia).
Dave will be greatly missed by his nieces Krista Berard, Melissa Monteith, Liza Parry, Rehanne Parry,Kiara Parry and Tammy Aubertin and Nephews Jefferey Monteith, Steven Monteith, Christopher Monteith, Rain Monteith and Ryan Monteith.
Predeceased by his parents Ron and Cecilia Monteith and sister Susan S Nagy.
Visitation at McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax, on November 14, 2019 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. Memorial Service from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Durham Cancer Clinic or Lakeridge Oshawa Hospital (Palliative Wing).
