Ryan DeniseRYAN, Denise (Lussier)   - Ryan passed away peacefully on December 1, at the Fairview Lodge Long Term Care home in Whitby, Ontario.

She will be dearly missed by her husband of 67 years, William (Bill), two sons Bob and Dan and daughters-in-law, Viki and Gloria. Denise had 5 grandchildren, Mark, Jonathan, Patrick, Andrea and Stephanie and 3 great-grandchildren, Madison, Matteo and Shayne.

Denise was predeceased by her parents, Henri and Louisa and her siblings, Yvette, Jean, André, Madeleine, Laurette, Claire, Pauline, Paul and Pierre.

Denise will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews. She was a loving, caring and wonderful friend to all, especially her friends in Montréal, Ste Adèle, Florida, and Whitby.

She brought grace and optimism wherever she was living, whether it be Outremont, Vancouver, Pointe Claire, Saint John, or Daytona in the US and Weybridge in the UK.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff of Taunton Mills Assisted Living and Fairview Lodge for helping her be as comfortable as possible.

A Mass will be said for Denise on Saturday, December 7th at 9:30 AM at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Whitby and there will be two “Celebrations of Life”, one at Taunton Mills and the other in Montréal.

Those dates are yet to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, Denise would have appreciated donations to the Canadian Cancer Society where, as a volunteer, she led the daffodil campaigns in Montréal for more than 15 years.
