LEASK, Barbara Joan - Abe 84, of Oshawa, Ontario passed away on December 5, 2019 at her home, surrounded by family. 

Predeceased by her husband William.

She will be deeply missed by her children Susan, Rick (Dianne), J.D. (Shelley), Tony (Faye), Andrew (Jeff), and Bill (Joanne), her grandchildren Alex, Gillian, Lyndsey, Megan, Sydney, Jocelyn, and James, and great grandchildren Elena and Matilda.

Predeceased by her parents Clifford and Bess Abrams and her brother John (Donna).

Barbara was known as a fun aunt to her many nieces, nephews, and their children. She truly enjoyed her time with family and friends whenever she was in their company.

Barbara had a wide range of interests including travelling around the world, reading, bridge and euchre, theatre, decorating, clothes and music, especially the piano. 

Visitation will be held at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, Whitby on Saturday January 4, 2020 from 2-5 pm and Sunday January 5th from 1-2 pm. Celebration of Barbara’s life will be held in the chapel on January 5th starting at 2 pm, followed by a reception. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Covenant House or the CHARITY of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
