LOBB, Alan - (August 10, 1930 – December 9, 2019)
Alan Lobb (known to his family as Codge) passed away peacefully at Season’s Retirement Home surrounded by the love of his family.
His children are so happy that he and his wife Betty celebrated 65 years of marriage in September. She was the apple of his eye and his one true love and Betty will be lost without him.
Always a family man, Alan took pride in his children Derek, Daphne and Deidre, their partners, and his seven grandchildren who will all miss him terribly.
Gracious and kind, Alan was always a gentleman and put his caregivers at ease even in his final months.
A heartfelt thank you to the compassionate staff in Memory Care at Season’s who cared for Alan with grace, humour and dignity until the end, as well as to Dr. Stone and Dr. Osborne for their kindness and commitment to palliative care.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 21st at 11 am., at Trinity United Church, 116 Church Street, Bowmanville, Ontario.
