It is with deep love, respect and great sadness that the family of John L. Tomlinson announce his passing on December 7th, 2019, at the age of 80 years.
Beloved husband of Betty.
Father of Carolyn (Paul) and Jeffrey (Andrea).
Loving grandfather of Aidan, Graham, Chloe, Ava and Addison.
In accordance with John’s wishes there will be no funeral service. A celebration of his life will be held at the McEachnie Funeral Home, Pickering Village, Ajax, on Sunday, December 29th, 2019, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. John’s wishes were that folks remember him as he was in life.
Whether it be his jovial presence at gatherings of family and friends; his 33 years as a fire fighter; his driving part-time after retiring; or just chatting with neighbours and friends.
Our world is a better place because he was in it.
He will be forever in our hearts.
