McDONALD, Sandy - Passed away peacefully on December 23, 2019 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age 70.
Beloved husband of Mary McDonald (nee Costello).
Loving father of Martin (Michele) and Stephen (Reni). Cherished Grandfather of Brenna, Carys and Owen.
Dear brother of Jim(Margaret), and the late Ian. Dear brother-in-law of Therese (Ed).
Sandy worked as a tool and die maker for 35 years. He enjoyed golf, cooking, listening to music and playing the guitar.
He will be remembered fondly by his many friends, colleagues and extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th from 10-11:30am at the DESTEFANO FUNERAL HOM, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 followed by a funeral service in the DeStefano Chapel at 11:30am.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Doctors and nursing staff at Lakeridge’s Ward C7.
