HAYDEN, Linda Hayden (nee Gauthier)  - passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the age of 59.

We lost a Mother, a Sister, an Aunt, a Niece, a Cousin and a dear friend.

Anyone who knew Linda knew love and kindness, thoughtfulness and grace.

Linda loved to be around her family and friends and never hesitated to offer a helping hand or an encouraging hug.

She held a special place in her heart for animals, adopting a few pets over her time. Her joy for life exuded from her smiles and laughter that she shared with those around her.

Linda was a proud Mom to her son, Aaron, cheering him on in his accomplishments and enjoying spending time together. A well-loved member of her church, Islington Evangel Centre, Linda devoted much of her time to the well-being of others through her participation in the choir, prayer and bible study groups, her role as a Sunday School Teacher, as well as her Mission trips to Moose Factory, Cuba and Mexico.

In the wake of her passing, our hearts are heavy, but we will honour her memory through words and acts of kindness. Linda is survived by her son, Aaron Hayden, her former spouse, Carl Hayden, her Aunt Mary Ann Nichols, her siblings, Donald Gauthier (Fran), Paul Gauthier, Michael Gauthier, Philip Gauthier, Brother-in-Law, Al Green, and her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11 at 10:30 a.m. at Islington Evangel Centre in Etobicoke. At a later date, Linda will be interred at Sanctuary Park Cemetery in Etobicoke alongside her parents, Leslie and Remi Gauthier.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in support of women’s health research would be appreciated.
