ROGERS, William John Rogers - June 18, 1927 - January 1, 2020
It is with great sadness that the family of William John Rogers announces his passing at Lakeridge Health Ajax and Pickering Hospital on Wednesday January 1st, 2020 in his 93rd year.
We were truly blessed that he was a part of our lives for such a long time.
He will be missed by his wife Rita of 67 years, children Kathy (John), Mike (Esther), Christine (Steve), Susan (Gary) and Paul (Leslie).
Grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Bill will also be fondly remembered by his brothers Ted and Joe (Nancy), his sister Ann and many nieces and nephews.
Bill spent an accomplished 42 years with Bell Canada/ Yellow Pages retiring as Personnel Manager.
He fostered many careers and was lovingly nicknamed “Father Bill”, as his kind sprit touched many.
He was a lover of all sports, especially his most cherished NBA 2019 Champion Raptors and was an avid player of Pai Gow Poker.
At Bill’s request a private family gathering will be held.
