WOOD, Donald - (Served in the Royal Canadian Navy, Lifetime member of Lake Vista Park Association, Retired longtime employee of Durham Region, Hockey and Baseball Coach and avid woodworker)

Suddenly passed away at Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday January 22, 2020, at the age of 83.

Beloved husband of 56 years of Valerie. Devoted father to Susan (Wayne) Hanley, Denise (Ron) McAdam, Terri Lynn (Peter) Derry, Robert (Debbie) Wood, Bryant (Natalie) Wood.

Cherished Granddad to Tara Hanley- Smith (Dan), Erin Annis, Amanda McAdam (Sean), Daryl McAdam (Jason), Nicholas Derry, Amber Bates (Chris), Warren, Alec and Nathan Wood. Also best great granddad to 12.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, Whitby, on Thursday January 30th from 1:30 p.m. until time of memorial service in the chapel at 2:30 p.m. Inurnment and reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
