HARGRAVE, Patricia Joan Hargrave  -  Peacefully, on Sunday, January 26th, 2020 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 87.

Beloved wife of the late Donald Ralph Hargrave of Whitchurch Stouffville (1992).

Mother to Jim Hargrave, Tanis Hargrave and husband Ross Hall, Rob and Debbie Hargrave, Cathi Hargrave and husband Kelly Dickinson. Grandmother to Chris and Kim Pfaff, Matthew Pfaff, Daniel Pfaff, Amy Pfaff and partner Matt Miezis, Jordon and Adrianne Hargrave, Jared Hargrave and partner Agnes Szelag,  Ryan Hargrave, Laura Hargrave and partner Carlyle Mazankowski, Sean Hargrave and fiancé Candice Buwalda. Katelyn and David Hoover, Chase Dickinson and Cole Dickinson.  Great Grandmother to Mady and Josie Pfaff and Hudson and Oliver Hargrave.

Special friend to Maryann Pogue.

Patti to friends, Mom to her kids, Nana to her grand children and Old Nan to her great grandchildren, she had an innate sense of humour.

Beautiful and classy, entertaining came easily.

A passionate gourmet cook, her culinary prowess and love for food was passed along to her children. She mastered the art of entertainment at an early age leaving many guests with memorable evenings spent at her table and earning her the title “The Hostess with the Mostess”!

She had a quick wit and a bright mind and never shied away from expressing her point of view.

She was extremely proud of her twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren often marveling at the fact she had created this lineage from being an only child.

She was an extraordinary grandmother leaving her grandchildren with countless positive memories of good times spent.

A caring and loving Mom, her laughter will forever echo in the walls of our minds. She will be greatly missed by all.

Arrangements with Wagg Funeral Home, Port Perry. Visitation is Friday January 31st 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by a service and luncheon reception. Memorial donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis.
