FINECZKO, Jakub - It is with profound sadness and regret that we announce the unexpected passing of Jakub Fineczko on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre at the age of 43.
Beloved son to Michal and Urszula and dearly loved brother to Julia.
Uncle “Wujek Kuba” to Gabriella and Olivia, his two nieces whom he adored.
Jacob was an amazing soul; whomever he crossed paths with he always made a connection and valued others regardless of their position, place, and role in society.
He was known for his kindness and genuineness, but also for his sense of humour, stubbornness, and wit which left those around him smiling, laughing and at times scratching their head.
He truly was a resilient man and will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Mount Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery, Whitby on Saturday March 7th from 11:00 am - 1:30 pm. We warmly invite all those that knew Jakub to attend and spend time remembering him. A eulogy will take place at 12:30 pm. Please come as you are, formal attire is not required. Jakub would have wanted people to be comfortable and at ease.
