GREER, Gladys Doreen (NEE FINLAY)   - Loving, fiercely loyal and passionate.

Wonderfully quick-witted, selfless and immensely proud.

There are truly no words that can contain her bright shining light.

If you knew her, you loved her.

And if you're reading this, she loved you, laughed with you and fought for you. Gladys Greer - Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, Best Friend and patriot, finally reunited with her lifelong soulmate Victor Greer.

Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday, February 28th, 2020 in her 79th year.

An indomitable spirit who lived her life fully and completely, there wasn't a stranger she didn't know. Cherished Mother of Gary (Lisa), Colleen (Paul) and Ryan (Danielle). Incredibly tireless Nan of Victoria, Tyler and Anthony.

Predeceased by her precious granddaughter Erin.

Loved by her niece Shirley and the entire MacLean family. Sadly missed by her brother-in-law Hughie and his wife Carol. Predeceased by her siblings Holtie, Florrie, Freddie, Irene and Les. Her kindness will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and countless friends in Canada, Belfast, Northern Ireland and throughout The United Kingdom.

The Greers would like to thank the incredible support from Dr. Derek Tsang at Princess Margaret Hospital, the staff at St. Michael's Hospital and the palliative team at Lakeridge Oshawa.

A celebration of her life will be held at McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax, on Thursday, March 5th 11am-1pm with a 1pm chapel service to follow. Gladys will be laid to rest at a later date.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to Princess Margaret Hospital or the palliative unit at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.

We love you Mom, always...and for everything you've done for us, we are ensuring the final words here are reserved solely for you: "Whatever fills yer bucket!".
