SIGUS, Benno - (November 13, 1928 - March 14, 2020)
Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on March 14, 2020 at the age of 91.
Predeceased by his loving wife Amanda (2004).
Loving dad of Ray (Carolyn) and Cindy (Craig). Adored grampa of Traci, Mikael, Kalev and Ava.
He will also be missed by extended family and friends.
Benno will be forever remembered as a very kind and gentle man who enjoyed the great outdoors, gardening, and fishing.
The family wish to extend their gratitude to the compassionate nursing staff 4F at Lakeridge Health for the care and professionalism shown to Benno and his family.
As per his own wishes, no formal funeral will take place, arrangements entrusted to THORNTON CEMETERY and FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787).
Donations to the R.S McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre would be gratefully accepted in Benno’s memory.
