OATES, Andrew Joseph - (September 15th, 1931 - March 13th, 2020)
Passed away peacefully at Hants Community Hospital Nova Scotia on Friday March 13th, 2020 at the age of 88.
Predeceased by his wife Shirley (Randell) of 56 years.
Loving father of Bradley and his wife Carol and Susan and her husband David Janes all of Brooklin.
Loving grandfather of Jennifer and her husband Evan, Andrew and his partner Sydney, Curtis and Amy.
Dear brother of Laura Brokate. Predeceased by Mike, Patricia, Mary, Albert and Verna.
Andrew will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and their families for his love to socialize and have fun.
Andy came to Toronto in 1949, eventually becoming an Ironworker for Local 721 Toronto. Retiring December 1991, Andy recently received a 60 Year Recognition Pin for his service as an Ironworker.
