Mill JeanMILL, Jean - On March 29, 2020, her 87th birthday, our beautiful Jean passed away.

Her 7 children: Patricia, Laura, Maureen, Beth, Stephen, Mary and Christine, along with their spouses, are thankful her passing was peaceful.

Jean was adored by her 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Born in Toronto, Jean was the third child of William and Elsie Hibberd.

Her brother Bill Hibberd and sister Barbara Douglas predeceased her; her other siblings David Hibberd (Mary), Mary Boland (Chuck) and Neil Hibberd mourn her passing but are thankful she is at peace.

As a young woman, Jean chose nursing as a career; so appropriate, as she spent her life selflessly taking care of people.

In 1957, she married George Mill, and they settled in Scarborough, Ontario. There they welcomed 7 children. George passed away in 1986.

Having raised most of her family, Jean, always up for an adventure, moved to Bobcaygeon, Ontario with Christine, her youngest. She went on to establish an incredible circle of friends. Her years in Bobcaygeon were some of her happiest; her altruistic nature shone. She actively took part in community organizations, and was involved in many clubs and committees.

Jean was a gentle, loving and humble woman; the backbone of her family. They thank her for all of her wisdom and unconditional love. They can't imagine life without her, and will forever treasure her.

A private family graveside service was held. The family will hold a memorial Mass to celebrate Jean’s life when gatherings are permitted once again.
