FLEMING, James Shankland - Passed away April 9th, 2020. He was in his 89th year.
Loving husband of Janet (nee Johnson) for 58 years.
Born in Girvan, Ayrshire, Scotland on December 9, 1931 to James Shankland Fleming and Janet Peacock. Brother to William (Nancy), Anne (Bob), Stewart (Barbara), and John.
Loving father of Mark (Alison), Lori and Carolin (Derrick). Proud grandfather of Jake, Jesse, Evan, Chloe, Avery, Zachary, and Nathan. Uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Jimmy will be sadly missed by his family and many friends from Curling and Lawn Bowling.
Our family is very grateful for the wonderful care Jimmy received at Orchard Villa in Pickering.
“Hey Jimmy” we can finally say “Jimmy Did It”. What will we do without you in this world?
In his memory please, perform a small act of kindness. A celebration of life will be held later in the year.
