OSBORNE, David Kenneth - May 16, 1948 -  April 8, 2020

It is with heavy hearts, we announce that David Kenneth Osborne passed away peacefully with his daughter Christine by his side on Wednesday April 8, 2020, at the age of 71.

He touched all our lives beyond words, leaving a void that can never be filled.

David was a loyal and longtime employee for the City of Toronto from 1975 until his retirement.

He had a passion for WWE wrestling and vintage cars, loved playing poker, and cared so much for his grandchildren.  He also loved his dogs Harley and Koda.

Beloved husband of Julia for 46 years.

Loving and devoted father of Liz-Ann (Loius), Christine (Thanh), and David (Nataliya). He will be dearly missed and will always be remembered by his grandchildren Brandon, Cassandra, Andrea, Mya, Jada, Leo and Levi.

David will be sadly missed by his brothers-in-law Colin and Bob, many nieces and nephews, and other extended family members and friends.

Dear brother of Clarice, Jake (Sherry), Phillip, and Rob (Trish). Predeceased by his brother Don and sister Karen.

His humour, dirty comments, and jokes will be missed. His laughter and sarcasm that filled our hearts will be missed. Our lives will be forever changed but his life and what he meant to us will never be forgotten.

Due to COVID-19, the funeral arrangements and “Celebration of Life” will be made at a later date.

In David’s memory, we ask that you do an act of kindness in his name and to listen to the great Kenny Rogers' song “The Gambler."

Arrangements entrusted to THORNTON CEMETERY and  FUNERAL CENTRE, Oshawa.

Expressions of condolence may be left at etouch.ca.
