McDOUGALL, Lorna Florence (nee Foley) - March 7, 1952 – April 28, 2020
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lorna McDougall, age 68, who passed away peacefully at home.
Dearly beloved wife of Doug McDougall for 26 years.
Loving mother to her children Neil (Joselyn), Frank (predeceased), Michael (Katherine) and Mario (Kelly).
Devoted Grandma and Jazzy to Jaimie (Michael), Alix, Anna, Anthony, Jason and Julianna.
Dear sister to Linda (Vance), Sandra (Rob), Patty Ann (Len). Dear sister-in-law to Margo (Gary), Janet (Paul), Lyn (Rick).
She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families, as well as close family friends and past colleagues from Olympic Wholesale. Her passing leaves a huge void throughout her large circle of family and friends who loved her deeply and cannot imagine a world without her.
Grieving during this era of COVID-19 is especially difficult and Lorna and Doug would have wanted nothing more than for us to gather together at a reception to celebrate her life, which unfortunately can not take place.
Due to the restrictions of the COVID-19 Pandemic, only a small, limited, private family service is permitted and will take place on Thursday May 7th 2020.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated.
