JAMES, Mary Elizabeth 'Betty' James - It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth James (Betty) who passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at the age of 54, at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa.
Betty was predeceased by her loving partner of twenty years, Ron L. Shields on January 4, 2020.
She will be forever loved and missed by her parents, Eila and Bill James, her brother Christopher, his wife Janet, her niece Candace and her partner Chris Bush, her nephew Curtis, his wife Jody, and grand nephew Lucas, and grand niece Hailey. Her brother Richard, his wife Pauline, nieces Sabrina and Kaitlin.
Forever in the hearts of Ron’s parents, Al and Lloy-Ann Shields, Ron’s sister Kristine Innes, her husband Craig, and their children Trevor and Colin.
Betty will also be remembered fondly by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends in Port Perry, Oshawa and Scarborough.
As per her wishes there will no funeral or service. A private family gathering will take place at a future date.
If desired memorial donations to the Canadian Liver Foundation in Betty’s name would be appreciated.
