PETER, Michael - Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health in Ajax on Thursday May 21, 2020, at the age of 82.
Beloved husband of Julie for 60 years.
Loving father of David, Kevin (Brenda) and Lori-Ann (Adam).
Devoted Grandpa to Anthony, Grant (Samantha), Addison, Selah, James and Great Grandpa to Ava.
Predeceased by his brothers; Steve and Louis Peter.
Michael was a dedicated General Motors employee for over 30 years as an Industrial Engineer.
Michael, a graduate of Wycliffe College, was a faithful member of All Saints Church in Whitby, All Saints Men’s Club and St. John’s Convent.
He was an avid golfer and an award-winning wood carver. One of his best pieces can be seen inside the Chapel at Ajax Hospital. Mike enjoyed both popular and ecclesiastical music, playing guitar and singing in the church choir.
A private family service will be held next week with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
Donations in memory of Michael may be made to All Saints Anglican Church, Whitby or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
