LAFORTEZA, Eunice M. - (September 21st, 1966 - June 2nd, 2020)
On Tuesday, June 2, 2020, Eunice Laforteza, loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend died after a courageous battle with cancer.
Eunice will be forever loved by her son Joshua, sisters Jannette (Lorenzo) and Ramela (Geordan), brother Bo, mother Herminia and predeceased by her father Solomon.
Eunice will also be lovingly remembered by her nephews (Jordan, Noah, Sebastian, Isaac), nieces (Asia, Kylie) and extended family.
Eunice’s incredible zest for life was nourished by her love of Joshua, family, friends, adventures to sunny destinations and flair for fashion and design.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the many wonderful frontline hospital teams and especially to Lakeridge Health Oshawa’s C7 unit for their care.
Special thanks to nurses Anita and Adriana and Dr. Graham for their tender care with us in the final hours.
