WOOD, Margaret Rose Wood - April 29, 1937 - July 15, 2020
It is with great sadness that the family announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Margaret Wood on July 15, 2020 at the age of 83.
Beloved wife to the late Gerald Wood for many happy years.
Caring Mother to daughters, Colleen (predeceased) and Lisa (George) and sons, Jerry (predeceased), Michael (Michelle) and Craig. Fun loving Grandma to Blake, Shawn, Brennan, Garret, Emma and Elliot. Dear sister to Jim (Margaret), Larry (Molly), Bob (Audrey), Fred (Ann), Norm (Cheryl) and Linda (John).
Margaret was very outgoing and fun loving. In her early years, she adored time with her family, especially the time spent on Orr Lake. She always looked forward to the many family gatherings throughout the years. She cherished her grandchildren and the good-humored relationships she shared with them was unbreakable.
She loved her community and was a part of the Whitby Seniors Centre and Lakeshore Tour Group. She also enjoyed many activities such as golf, art classes, line dancing and most of all, playing boards games with her family and playing cards with her dear friends.
She will be remembered and missed by extended family, Carol (Ken), Gerry (Hazel) and Bob (Maureen) and her many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in Margaret's honor would be greatly appreciated by the family.
