HELM, Joyce Elizabeth - (April 21st, 1944 - July 23rd, 2020)
Passed Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday July 23rd, 2020.
Beloved wife of Edgar “Ed” Helm for 53 years.
Loving mother of Paul and Karen Helm (Rich Vainio).
Dear sister of Catherine Hillman, Janet Sabourin, sister in law of Shirley Ellison, Marion & Betty Helm and Bill Riddell. Predeceased by her sister Lois, brothers in law Douglas & Arthur and brothers in law Gary Hillman & Rene Sabourin.
Joyce was a proud Nurse, graduating in 1964 as an RNA at Scarborough General Hospital. She enjoyed spending her time creating ceramic art and spending time with her family.
A Private Family Graveside Interment Service has taken place at Union Cemetery.
A Celebration of Joyce’s Life will take place at a later date.
Donations in memory of Joyce to the Diabetes Association, Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
