GALLAGHER, Jane Josephine (McReynolds) - “Jean” was born on Friday, February 2, 1923, passed away at her home July 30, 2020.
Jane, known as Jean, was born in Northern Ireland County Antrim to parents William McReynolds and Ann (McConkey) McReynolds. She had two siblings John and William (deceased).
Growing up, Jean had to endure the loss of her beloved mother who passed at an early age. She then lived through The Great Depression and WW11.
Jean came to Canada and married Connell Gallagher August 27, 1949 at St Paul's Catholic Church in Toronto, witnessed by Michael & Rose Clancy.
Jean and Con had 9 children over the years, John Connell (deceased); Ann Bridget spouse Wolf (Hiesl); Brendan Francis (deceased); Jean Marie spouse Ken (Doherty-deceased); Liam Charles partner Maggie Smrke (Chris); Patrick James spouse Cindy; Margaret Rose spouse Rob (Burns); Kevin Joseph; Maureen Patricia spouse Rob (Fletcher).
Jean was known as Gramma to their 21 grand children, James, Cherene, Terry, Stephen, Mary, Michael, Heather, Joseph, Candice, Tera, Carly, Lee, Adam, Ryan, Robert, Jennifer, David, Matthew, Steve, Sherri and Michelle. And their great-grandchildren, Madison, Naomi, Maiya, Cali, Samantha, Aiden, Rylee, Elena, Irelyn, Leo, Nolan, Reina, Aidan, Nevaeha Quilan, William and Weston.
