It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of our beloved father and husband Alan, who peacefully with his three girls by his side, at Rouge Valley Hospital on August 20, 2020 after a lengthy illness.

Alan was a loving and devoted husband of Judy for over 49 years, for whom he adored more than life.

A cherished father and heroic mentor of his twin daughters, Sara Cousins (Daniel) and Lara Cava (Deni), and loving and proud Papa who left behind a genuine influence on his grand-children Hunter and Juliana.

Alan also leaves behind, sister Roma, brothers Nick, Walter and Jerry, and brothers-in-lawsGlenn and Doug.

Alan lived his life full of integrity and purpose. A simple gesture of making people feel important and valued were always important. We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Alan, he was a rare combination of someone who had a love for life and firm understanding of what was important – the simplicity of living life with those you loved.

His large gentle footprint on life resonated with the many friends and family members who will miss him dearly.

The Family wishes to extend a special thank-you to the Staff at St. Michael’s Hospital and Rouge Valley Hospital for their care and compassion.

Cremation to take place and a private family gathering will be held as per his wishes.
