SOPEJY, Kathleen Ann - With profound sadness we announce the passing of Kathleen Sopeju, a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend to all whose lives she touched, on October 2, 2020. She left us while resting peacefully at her home.
Beloved wife of Emmanuel Sopeju.
Much loved mother of Kristeen, Atinuke, Ayodele and Yetunde.
Cherished grandmother of Ekundayo, Olalekan, Akinwole, Olarinde, Olukayode, Adeniyi, Ayokunle and Adewale. Dear sister of Margaret Thornhill, Charles Claxton and the late Violet Sandys. Remembered by her nieces and nephews.
Kathleen will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Kathleen's greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her 8 grandchildren. She was an incredible woman with an unparalleled zest for life and an infectious sense of humour. She will live on in our hearts, minds, thoughts, prayers, and laughs forever.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be a private funeral service for immediate family only on October 6th.
