Horgan StephanieHORGAN, Stephanie Lynn - (1981 - 2020) Stephanie died peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family on October 6, 2020 after a courageous 7 year journey with colon cancer.

Stephanie is the beloved wife of Michelle Smith.

Beloved daughter of Lynda and David, sister to Michael (Theresa) and Sean (Chantal) and cherished aunt of Colin, Katherine, Thomas, James, Erin, Jonah, Sophie.

Stephanie will be lovingly remembered by her aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

She filled her life with loves of learning, travel, eating good food, contests, trying new products, live music and time with family and friends.

Stephanie was a graduate of McMaster and Queen’s Law. She loved her position as a legal associate with Richard J. Mazar Professional Corporation.

She made friends easily, and was an inspiration to those who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th from 1:00 - 3:00pm at the DESTEFANO FUNERAL HOME, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595.

A Service to Celebrate Stephanie’s life will be held in the DeStefano Chapel at 3:00pm.

If desired, memorial donations would be appreciated to support any of the following: Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre in Oshawa, where Stephanie received incredible emotional support from their staff, programs and services throughout her illness; Young Adult Cancer Canada (YACC), which relies on donations to offer affordable conferences and retreats to young adults with cancer – young adults with cancer have few resources for support specific to their age group; and Melanie’s Way, a Canadian charity that grants personalized ‘wishes’ to young women with metastatic or relapsed cancer.
