FRANCIS, Anthony Charles - It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Anthony Charles Francis on October 7, 2020.
Anthony was born on December 19, 1973 in North York. He was a people person who cared deeply for his extended family, friends, and work colleagues.
He was a natural salesman who spent many years working in Spain and England. Upon his return to Canada in 2017 he lived in Port Perry, Ontario.
He loved playing hockey, soccer, golf and tennis and was an avid follower of the Toronto Maple Leafs, English Premiership Football League, Toronto Raptors and Toronto Blue Jays.
Anthony also loved all animals, particularly his pugs Tonda and Maddie (of Spain) and the family cat Beethoven.
Anthony is survived by his parents John and Kathryn Francis, his siblings Christopher (Kim), Judith (Peter), Robert (Aili) and Andrew (Jerilyn). He will also be greatly missed by nephews and nieces: Matthew, Joshua, Zachary, Aidan, Noah, Alexander, Jia Lian and Lilian.
Due to COVID restrictions, a private funeral for immediate family will be held.
