HAWKINS, Stanley Griffith - Mining Engineer and Exploration Company Developer
Peacefully at Case Manor Care Community in Bobcaygeon, Ontario on Monday October 12, 2020 at the age of 90, surrounded by family.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Marion. Loving father of Warren and his wife Joey, Karen and her husband Simon, Wayne and his wife Terri.
Cherished grandfather of Mackenzie, Benjamin, Grace and Ryan.
Stan went on to graduate in 1954 from the University of Toronto in Mining Engineering. With Marion his beloved wife of 38 years by his side, Stan was known as a true mining man, a straight shooter, and a gentleman.
In his later years he loved spending summers at the cottage, winters in Florida playing golf, and cooking his famous turkey dinners while entertaining his children and grandchildren.
Stan will be deeply missed by his family, friends and his dear cousin Ruth for his wisdom, his laughter, his exceptionally generous heart, and his smile.
Due to current circumstances with Covid-19, funeral arrangements are private. A public celebration of life will be held when we can all gather without restrictions.
