SNOWDEN, Dorothy Elizabeth - (July 25th, 1928 - October 20th, 2020)
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our much loved mother, grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt and friend.
Dorothy Elizabeth Snowden lived a full and rich life, passing at 92 with family by her side.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph and parents Isaac and Emily (Dobson) Hardy and her dear brother Stanley. Survived by brother in law Jim Pengelly.
Joe and Dorothy married on September 30, 1950 and raised two children, Bruce(Donna) and Sheryl (Bill).
The light in Dorothy’s life were her grandchildren Zak (Kayt), Madi, and Kassi. Gma was always quietly cheering on the sidelines at 4-H shows, soccer, baseball, and hockey games.
Dorothy has been lucky to see her first great grandchild Annie grow into an active wee toddler and this brought Mom much joy.
In lieu of flowers, if you wish to remember Dorothy with a donation we would like to suggest The Charles H Best Center for Diabetes who supported and educated our family about Type 1 diabetes or Eldad United Church.
Mom you will be dearly missed but we are comforted that you are dancing with Dad again.
