CAPLAR, 'Mona' Elfriede (nee Lowry) – (February 19th, 1933 - October 25th, 2020)
Peacefully on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 87.
Mona, beloved wife of the late William Caplar.
Much loved mother of Michele Smillie (Craig), Carol Jones (Ken), Sonny Caplar (Carolyn) and Gord Caplar (Alison).
Proud grandmother of Ryan (Sahar), Brad (Alanna), Jesse, Cassandra, Vanessa, Brandon, Michael, Ian and Jason, and great grandchildren; Tyler, Evelynn, Ashton, Hayden, Spencer, Abigail.
Daughter of the late Alfred and Hedwig Lowry (nee: Vanna).
Mona will be deeply missed by her beloved dog Mitzi, her turtle Leo and her bird Pretty, along with all her family and many dear friends.
A private Memorial Service has taken place.
Memorial donations to the Humane Society of Durham Region would be greatly appreciated.
