Peios LouisPEIOS, Louis  - May 14, 1941 - October 29, 2020

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of our HERO and DAD, Louis Peios on Thursday October 29th, 2020 at the age of 79, in the comfort of his home, with his loving family by his side.

Born in the selo Trsye, Lerin, he was the fourth son of the late Vasil and Kotsa Peios.

He is survived by his loving wife Sylvia, of 56 years.

Loving and devoted Dad of Marry (Steve), Bill (Sophie), Nick (Ann) and Helen (Mike).

Proud and cherished Dedo of Thomas, Alexa, Christopher, Angelo, Marisa, Louis, Marcus and Carter.

Predeceased by his older brothers Krste (late Velika) Peovski and George Peios.

Left to mourn are his siblings Chris (Tsila) Peonidis, Tasa Peios, Lena (Sotir) Petsanis and Stoya (Tom) Savas whom he all saw a few days before his passing.

He will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews along with their families.  Also grieving his loss is his sister-in-law Maria (George) Lambakis of Greece and families.

Louis spent the majority of his working life in the restaurant business. He was the ultimate gentleman, with a kind and polite manner who loved his family immensely.

What he truly loved most was to sit in the stands at the hockey rinks, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, theatres and countless dance recitals to cheer on his grandkids.

Dedo LP was their number one fan.  We miss you; we love you. You are and forever will be our HERO.  Visitation will be held at the DESTEFANO FUNERAL HOME , 1289 Keith Ross Drive Oshawa (905) 440 3595 on Sunday November 1st from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 6:00 – 9:00pm.  Prayers will be said at 7:00pm.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday November 2nd at 11:00am.

A private family interment will follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens in Pickering.

If desired, memorial donations to the Odette Cancer Center at Sunnybrook Health Sciences would be appreciated.
