Cupelli LuigiCUPELLI, Luigi  - (January 3, 1939 – November 5, 2020)

Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday November 5, 2020 in his 82nd year.

Beloved husband to Carmela for over 53 years.

Loving father to Carmine and his wife Judy, Frank and his wife Tracy, Lisa and her husband Zac and predeceased by Franca (1970).

Cherished “Nonno” to Aiden, Quinten, Alexys and Lilliann.

Devoted son of the late Carmine and Carmela Cupelli.

 

Born in Lago, Cosenza, Italy, in 1939 and immigrated to Canada in 1966,

Luigi loved both his homes and enjoyed visiting his many loved family and friends in Italy and around the globe.

Luigi will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway #2, Courtice, (905-432-8484) on Monday November 9th from 5-8 p.m. *Please enter the parking lot from Sandringham Drive and remain in your vehicle until invited in by an attendant.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Therese Catholic Church, 3800 Courtice Road, Courtice, on Tuesday November 10, 2020 at 11 a.m.

Due to the maximum capacity of 100 people in the church, our family requests our friends to select one individual from their family to represent in attendance. A livestream of the service will be available at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWIzhF7xmRBk1zhIW-JeWyw

In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation and local palliative care units will be appreciated by our family.
