TOOLEY, Gordon Thomas - Born in Brixham, England where he lived 'til the age of six years old.
Gordon passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the age of 71 years old.
He was brought over to Canada were he found a love in teaching people. He retired a professor of Centennial College of thirty years.
He will be missed by his dearly loved partner, spouse and best friend, Shirley Morie Bryan, of eleven years.
Cherished father of Laurinda (Pumpkin) May Tooley, Gordon Jay Tooley and loving grampy of Brendon Gordon Tooley.
Predeceased by his parents, Ronald W. Tooley and Idella McMaster.
He is also survived by sisters Ethel, Anna, Jane and his brothers Paul and Ronald. Gordon will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews and large circle of true and loyal friends and all of whom loved him very much.
According to Gordon’s wishes cremation will be taking place.A celebration of Gordon’s life will take place at a later date.
Special thanks to all the staff in the palliative care unit at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for the kindness and compassion shown to Gordon during these past few months.
