WALKER, Raymond (Ray)  - It is with deep sadness that we said goodbye to Ray on November 27, 2020.

Ray was 89 years of age, and passed peacefully in his sleep, at home with his beloved wife, Jean, at his side.

Ray and Jean were happily married for over 44 years.

Ray was a former employee of GM with 42 years of service.

He was from a musical family, and won many Kiwanis medals. Ray formed a dance band and played in many locations in and around Durham Region for many years.

Ray leaves his sister Eileen (Ed),  Sister-in-law Jean (the late Vin), and brother Ron (Georgie)  and their families to mourn his loss, as well as three daughters from a previous marriage - Sandy McCauley, (Jim), Debbie, MacLellan (Paul), and Toni-Anne Quinn (Dan).

His three adult stepchildren, Cynthia Mountford (Paul Crawford), Sue Nieuwenburg (Randy), Jamie Mountford (Erin) and Ray's granddaughter Claire, were grateful for his presence in their lives, as he was with theirs.

Because of the Coronavirus there will not be a Celebration of Life.

A private family gathering at Ray's gravesite may be held in the near future.

Donations to Lung, Heart or Diabetes Associations would be welcome.
