MACRAE, John Kenneth - Passed away suddenly on November 30th, 2020.

Beloved husband of the late Teresa (nee Miscio). 

Loved father of April Simpkiss (Christian) and Jeremy Mac Rae (Lynda). 

Cherished grandpa of Ashley Simpkiss (Michael) and Brianna Simpkiss. 

Loving son of Frances & the late Alexander Mac Rae. Dear brother of Alexander Mac Rae (Jean), Daniel Mac Rae (Marion), Marion Dunphy (Tom), Mary Hancock (Winston), Brenda Atkinson (Bill), Isabel Mac Rae (Steve Jardin), Alfred Mac Rae, Stephen Mac Rae (Nancy), Louise Jenkins (Rolland) and predeceased by Elizabeth Newton and William Mac Rae. 

John will be sadly missed by his ‘chosen additional honorary children’ Aleatha Jewett and Andrew Hagan, as well as his dear partner Marion LeBlanc. 

His numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that were truly family will never forget him. 

John was a foreman to the County Roads Department of Haliburton for half his life, as well as a long haul truck driver for over 25 years. 

A Private Family Service will be held in Bowmanville on Monday December 7th. 

Memorial donations may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or The Cancer Society.
