MACLEOD, Laurie Ellen - Went to be with her Lord on Monday November 30, 2020 at her home in Oshawa at the age of 63.
Reunited with her beloved parents Leonard & Edith (Crawford) MacLeod.
Laurie worked for 15 years as a medical secretary before joining the staff in Clinical Records at Whitby Psychiatric Hospital (now Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences). She retired as a data analyst from Decision Support after 26 years in December 2016.
An avid reader, her pastimes included sewing and cross-stitch embroidery. Laurie’s real passion was for family history. Along with Scottish, English and German ancestors, she had 13 generations of French-Canadian roots.
Fondly remembered by many relatives, friends and colleagues.
Laurie is survived by her sister Carron (Garth) Jensen and nephews Joshua (Cherry) Manning (and their daughter Maggie) and Caleb Manning.
