PITRE, Catherine ‘Joan’ (nee Clark) - (December 17th, 1931 - December 2nd, 2020)
With heartfelt sorrow, the family of Joan announces her passing on December 2, 2020 at the age of 88 years.
Beloved wife of the late Gerald Pitre.
Much loved mother of Cathy Carrigan-Davis (Dan), Debra Robertson (Dan), Darlene Coe (Bill), Bill Carrigan, Georgina Walker (Dave), Jim Carrigan and Tammy Mendez (Steve).
Proud Grandmother of Vanessa Hawkins (Rob), Dan Davis Jr., Sarah Mallette (Ed), Derek Robertson (Miranda), Kyle Osborne (Alina), Kodi Osborne (Kathleen), Shandelle Carrigan (Jason), Derek Carrigan, Kelly Carrigan, Jessica Genovese (Frank), Abigail Carrigan, Caeden Carrigan, Kimberley Graveley (Brandon), Andrea Walker, Matthew Walker.
Proud Great Grandmother of Daniel, Brady, Dylan, Gavin, Paul, Lydia, Gillian, Jenacis, Siara, Emerson, Jaxon, Ethan, Cooper, Brody, Ava Marie and the late Dallas Layton and the late Keagan Davis.
Special aunt to Tom, Robin and Robert and adored sister of the late Harold Clark all of Nova Scotia.
Joan will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always said they were her greatest pleasure in life and loved them all deeply.
A special thank you to Hillsdale Terraces from our entire family to all who knew her. She was not just a resident for 13 years, she grew to be part of another family. Reminders of her will forever be in the special relationships she had built with the staff. Your love and dedicated care for her was immeasurable.
Arrangements are entrusted to ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, Oshawa. A private family Interment and Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Oshawa Humane Society.
