PETITE, Chesley Ernest   - December 28, 1923 – November 28, 2020

One month before his 97th birthday, we said goodbye to Dad on Saturday, November 28, 2020.

Predeceased by his wife Anne (2019), he died at home peacefully, surrounded by the love of family and his three cherished daughters, Robin (Tom), Susan (Jack) and Jill (Cathie).

Missing him beyond words are his five adored grandchildren Alison, Carson (Nicole), Nicholas, Daniel and Hannah. He will be dearly missed by his brother Earl (Halifax) and numerous family and friends.

Ches was born in English Harbour, Newfoundland, and raised in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.

Shortly after graduating from Acadia University and Dalhousie (P. Eng.), Ches and Anne moved with their growing family to Montreal and then eventually to Toronto in 1966.

He enjoyed a long and successful career with Rohm and Hass Canada until his retirement at 65.

He will be deeply missed and the twinkle in his eye will never be forgotten.

Cremation has taken place.

In the summer 2021 we will have a private family memorial in Shediac, NB at St. Martin’s in the Woods, where Chesley and Anne were married 68 years ago.

Memorial donations to a food bank of your choice would be appreciated.
