SKELTON, David Michael - We are saddened to share the news of Dave’s passing on November 1, 2020 at the age of 73.
Husband of 32 years to the late Irene Skelton (née Kolano).
Proud father of Tracy (Ron), Jason, Kristen (Bjarne) and Michael (Sarah) and grandfather of Kyle, Madelyn, Mellissa and Villum.
Predeceased by his parents Reginald and Catherine.
He is also survived by his seven siblings, Bonnie, John (Colleen), Sharon (Walter), Heather, Shelley, Janine and Toni.
Retired from The Canadian National Railway (CN).
Dave valued a simple and carefree life.
In his earlier years, he volunteered his free time as coach or trainer to his kids baseball and hockey teams.
In his latter years, he enjoyed the company of his dogs, family and friends.
Dave will be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor.
In these unprecedented times, a celebration of Dave's life will be held at a later date to honour his memory.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Dave's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
