Spencer JamesSPENCER, James Albert 'Jim' – (August 21, 1941 – December 14, 2020)

Jim passed away at Oshawa General Hospital on Monday evening, December 14, 2020.

Jim is survived by his wife Judy, and his children Martin, Bradley (Nevina), Jamie, Debi (Kyle), Sandra (Warren) and his sister Marilyn (Gerry) Holmes.

Predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Florence and his brother Ken.

Grumps always loved, supported and encouraged his grandchildren, Mitchel, Shawna, Bella, Spencer (Shawna), Haley, Logan, Bryson, Clarke, Stephan, Joshua, Shandelle and great-grandson Emmett.

He lived for 40 years on Morse Street and encouraged all the kids in the neighbourhood, his “Morse St. Hoodlums."

Jim was retired from the City of Toronto, Transportation Dept., where he worked after he sold his Toronto Taxi license. He was the original proud owner of Plate 2220 and drove for many years.

If desired and in support of Jim’s lifelong interest in kids’ programs, donations may be made to BelieveToAchieve.ca, a foundation started by his good friend Spider Jones.

Due to COVID there will be no service. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held when gathering restrictions have been relaxed.

Online condolences may be expressed at W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL .
