Osborne JeanneOSBORNE, Jeanne (nee Wallace)  - (March 15th, 1933 - December 21st, 2020)

Of Oshawa, Ontario, passed peacefully on Monday, December 21, 2020.

Jeanne is survived by her brother Ivan Wallace (Bernadine), her sons Jeffrey (Anita) and Drew (Linda), daughters Jill Eymann (Steve) and Jennifer, step-sister Sharyn Moriguchi (David) and sisters-in-law Jean Osborne and Rae Osborne.

She was cherished Gramma and Grammy to Alyssa, Tyler, Robert, Ellen, Riley, Melanie, Andrea and Jessica and great-grandma to Danielle.

Jeanne will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Predeceased by her husband George Osborne with whom she is most certainly dancing once again.

Jeanne was born in Shelburne, Ontario to Bruce and Dorothy Wallace. She worked at Duplate Canada, lovingly cared for others at her home daycare and was a dedicated member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

She loved to entertain and was the first to arrive and the last to leave every party. She was a person you could count on to intently listen to your every word and then quietly ask a question that would immediately change your perspective for the better.

Jeanne was passionate about travel and had the opportunity to experience many different travel experiences with her husband George and close friends.

A special thank you to all the staff and executive at ThorntonView Long Term Care for their loving care, support and constant communication.

Additional thanks to everyone at Homewell Senior Care for being present when we couldn’t always be.

To Vanessa, Jeanne’s angel and best pal, there are no words to express what you meant to her.

Thank you to  ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME for all the arrangements.

Jeanne will be laid to rest at  MOUNT LAWN MEMORIAL GARDENS in Whitby, Ontario.  A memorial will be held at a later date.

If desired, in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made at Alzheimer Society of Durham Region, Canadian Diabetes Association, Epilepsy Canada, and for her American friends The Lewy Body Dementia Association or a CHARITY of your choice.
