AKPAN, Elizabeth 'Lizzy' 'Nene' - (January 10, 1948 – December 19, 2020)
Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on December 19th, 2020, at the age of 72 years.
Beloved wife of Udo Elijah Akpan. Loving mother of Token, Elijah (Carine), John (Joy), Emmanuel (Adebukola).
Cherished grandma of Daniel, David, Carel, Jeremiah, Eliana, Kizitere and Andino.
Dear daughter of the late Joseph and Fanny Udoette.
Fondly remembered by all her family and friends.
"Nene" will always be remembered for her love of singing and dancing, her ability to help everyone around her. She was known for her motherly love by all her family, friends, neighbours and students.
A private service will be held at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL 1587 Highway #2, Courtice (905-432-8484). Live Streaming will be available through www.funeralweb.tv.com on Wednesday, December 30th at 1:30 pm.
Interment Oshawa Union Cemetery.
