MACKINNON, Michael Joseph - (February 17th, 1945 - December 30th, 2020)
Retiree Lasco Steel – 30+ years service.
Suddenly at his home in Oshawa on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the age of 75.
Michael, beloved husband of Margaret MacKinnon (nee: MacDonald).
Much loved dad of Mary-Ann Fortier (John), step-dad of David Webster (Angela) and Jennifer Caruk (Shawn).
Proud Papa/Grandpa of Blaine, Lauren, Kendra, Bryce and Great Papa of Caiden.
Michael is survived by his many siblings, nieces and nephews.
Michael got immense pleasure from always having treats to share with the neighbourhood dogs. His furry friends will certainly miss him.
Michael’s family and many dear friends will miss him deeply. He will remain in their hearts always.
Due to COVID19 restrictions a very private funeral will take place.
Interment will be at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
Michael was very involved with the Knights of Columbus and had a deep love for animals. Memorial donations to the Knights of Columbus or the Durham Humane Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
