BROWN, Richard H. -  Passed away at home on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the age of 69.

Loving husband to Natasha. Proud father of Andrew (Laura) and Zahar (Marina). Cherished grandfather to Colton.

Dear brother of Linda, brother-in-law to Olga and Linda. Predeceased by his brothers Scott and Mike, his mother and father Norman and Betty Brown.

Dear uncle to Jeff, Ryka, Daniel, Ashley, Courtney, Nicholas, Alexis, and Linda.

Richard grew up in Montreal, was fiercely patriotic, he was passionate and involved in politics, he was a Veterans advocate, involved in restoring historic military vehicles; served as a Combat Engineer for 20 years in the Canadian army.

He was a positive person who cared for animals and would help anyone at any time. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, pets, sons and grandson.

He taught his children to look for the good in people, to treat everyone with respect and dignity, and to cherish every day.

Due to the pandemic circumstances, a celebration of life graveside service will be held at a later date.

If desired, memorial donations in Richard’s memory may be made to Ontario Regiment Museum.
