ARCHER, Audrey  - (June 27, 1931 – January 16, 2021)

After several years of declining health, Audrey has joined her husband Robert (Bob), her parents Margarite (nee McQueen) and George Harrison and Teddy, her beloved furry pal in the great hereafter.

Her family and friends will miss her clever wit, practical jokes, delicious treats and many acts of kindness.

She leaves behind her sister Joan Habberfield (Burlington), nephews Kerry Habberfield (Burlington) and Chris Habberfield (Burlington), great nephew Christopher Habberfield and great niece Summer Anne Griffin, step-children Steven Archer (Bragg Creek, Alberta – son Kurt and daughter Kate), Dean Archer (Port Perry – Son Christopher and daughter Michelle), Vernon Archer and foster daughter Wilma Boyce.

Sincere thanks to Dr. Jim Tuck who has supported Audrey throughout her journey with solid medicine, genuine compassion and home visits when she was no longer able to visit his office.

Dr. Tuck’s staff – Wendy, Lisa and Jaqueline were always helpful as were the staff at Central East LHIN, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and her favourite PSW Connie.

To attending physicians and nursing staff at Lakeridge Health Port Perry and Oshawa and EMS attendants, thank you for your professionalism, kindness, calm demeanour and patience.

Thank you to Ann Marie Taillon for your visits and culinary gifts and to Audrey’s neighbours for helping over the years.

Audrey revelled in her various duties with both Elections Ontario and Elections Canada. Here, again, she made good friends especially Ralph Werry and Cathy Acerra.

Audrey had a special affection for Zach, Darcia, Jerry and Pam Fis but her favourite was little Graham the ball of energy who stole her heart! She was family to all of them. Audrey lived a full and rewarding life.

Due to COVID-19 protocols, a memorial service will be held at a future date.
