PAGE, Edward John - (1936 - 2021) - It is with deep sorrow that our families announce the death of our cherished loved one Edward John Page who was born in Nova Scotia on September 12, 1936 and sadly passed in hospital on January 25, 2021 at 84 years of age.
Edward dedicated his adult career serving with the Canadian Armed Forces and retired as a Captain.
He had a passion for family, writing and poetry and would often recite his favourite poems.
Edward was preceded in death by his wife Adele Page, his brother Wally Page, his sister in-law Doris Page, his brother-in-law Lloyd, his brother in-law Eric McNeil and his brother in-law John McNeil.
Edward's surviving family members include: his sister Gale; children John, Chris (w) Michelle, Kathy (h) David, Kevin (w) Dawn. His brother Paul (w) Maureen; their children Edward (w) Rosario, Michael, Donna (h) Blaine. His brother David (w) Margie; children Johnathan (w) Pamela, Paula (h) Ben. Wally’s children Wendy, David, Lynn. His sister Sharon. His sister-in-law Dale; children Cynthia (h) Scott. His sister-in-law Flora; children Alexander (w) Jennifer, Michelle (h) Jim, John-Eric (w) Raegan.
A closed memorial service will be held on Saturday January 30th at 10:30am at McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax. Because of Covid-19 restrictions, the funeral service and burial are private by invitation only through the family.
