Afterglow

My lamp of light is burning low
As time draws near I have to go.

No use to weep, mourn or cry
Because, we are all meant to die.

I’ve lived my life but not in vain,
There is many a thing I’d do again.

Don’t weep for me when I’ve gone,
Just wear a smile and carry on.
