MacGILLIVRAY, Andrew Avilla – (May 19th, 1928 - February 6th, 2021)
Retired Car Carrier with Charlton Transport for 25 years.
With great sadness we announce the passing of Andy MacGillivray of Whitby. He passed at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday, February 6th 2021 at the age of 92.
Beloved husband of the late Irene (2018).
Loving father of Judy Vipond (Peter), Mike MacGillivray (Susan) and Brenda MacGillivray.
Cherished grandfather of Kelly Vipond (Stacey), Tara Boyd (Jeff Fertile), Rebecca Boyd, and Jaime MacGillivray (Robby).
Proud great-grandfather of London, Cole and Andrea.
Born on May 19th, 1928 in Pine Tree, Nova Scotia, Andy grew up in a family of 13. He is survived by his brothers Donnie of Nova Scotia and Leo of Saskatchewan.
The MacGillivray family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of the Emerg., ICU and 7G for the compassion they showed.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
